William A. Dorsey, 66, of Freeport, IL, passed away on September 21, 2021 at FHN. He was born on April 30, 1955 in Freeport, to Howard A. and Marlys J. Dorsey (Oosting). He married Patricia Morell on September 10, 1988. William was a retired truck driver and member of Harmony United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife Patricia, children: William Morell (Tammy Roach), Robert Dorsey, Laura Beach (Jonathan Beach), and Amy Dorsey; grandchildren: Skye Endress, Diem Beach, and Lathan Beach; siblings: Barb Sanner (Dorsey) and Donna Harvey (Randy Harvey); and niece Rebecca Cascio.

He was preceded in death by his mother Marlys Dorsey, father Howard Dorsey, and father-in-law Charles Morell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on a later date. A memorial has been established at Harmony United Methodist Church.
