Virginia (Jin) Louise Brinkmeier gained her wings quietly at her home on Friday January 5, 2024. She was born in Morrison II. on October 31, 1945 to Paul and Bessie (Temple) Harridge. She attended Argo Fay school for two years then went to Thomson schools. She graduated with the class of 1963. She earned a Bachelor's Degree, and spent many years in the health care field as an LPN, with home care being her passion.
Over the years, she worked at the Chadwick library, was a past member of the Chadwick Village board and volunteered at Happy Tails in Rock Falls. She attended the Argo Fay United Methodist church and was a member of the churches Ladies Aid. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Also, lunches on Sunday with her church friends. She was a cat lover, enjoyed reading and caring for others. She had delighted her cousins by dressing up as Grandma Temple at the family gatherings.
She is survived by her three children: Jeff, Deb and Matt; Four grandchildren: Josh, Jessica, Grace and Caleb; her beloved great-grandchildren: Hayden, Kaylen, Shalyn, Eryah, Amara, and Halle, with another due in July; Two sisters: Mary Ann Eirhart and Diane (Cory) Pidde; and one sister-in-law, Denise Harridge.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Dwayne, and one granddaughter Faithe.
Per her request, cremation rites have been accorded and no service will be held.
