Vietta Verla Scheider, 91, of Freeport, IL, passed away on December 1, 2020 at Monroe Hospital. She was born on May 27, 1929 in Pearl City, IL, to Oscar and Edna (Edler) Miche. She was a graduate of Pearl City High School. On August 7, 1961, she married Lawrence E. Scheider at Faith United Methodist Church in Freeport.

Survivors include her children: Grover Scheider, Phillip Scheider, and Ida Mae Hull, all of Freeport, IL, and Sally (Brendan) O'Haver of Red Oak, IL; four grandchildren: Pierson Hull, Preston Hull, Cameron O'Haver, and Cattrina O'Haver; and one great-grandson Axton O'Haver.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Scheider, and both parents.

A private service will be held on Saturday December 5, 2020, at the Schwarz Funeral Home, 816 S. Galena Ave. in Freeport, IL.
