Verlin D. Richtemyer, 93, of Lena, IL, and formerly of Pearl City, IL, passed away March 13, 2022 at home. He was born January 11, 1929 in Pearl City, IL, to Emmert and Ethel (Brady) Richtemyer. He was a graduate of Pearl City High School. Verlin farmed and was a rural mail carrier for more than 20 years. He was also a US Army Veteran and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pearl City.

He is survived by numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Bernice, and special friend, Gladys Price.

A funeral service will be held on Monday March 21, 2022 at 11 AM, with visitation from 9 AM until time of service, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pearl City, IL. Pastor Shellie Knight will officiate. Interment at Lena Burial Park.

A memorial has been established for St. John's Lutheran Church.
