Tommie Ray Wallace, 74, of Freeport, IL, passed away on October 17, 2023 at UW Swedish American in Rockford, IL. He was born on January 4, 1949 in Lake Village, Arkansas, to Jack Wallace and Estella (McCoy) Wallace-Doyal. He married Jessica Hall on September 15, 1989 in Freeport. He was a Jehovah's Witness.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years Jessica Wallace, children: Debbie (Robbie), Tommie (Carla), Sharoo (Jenny), LaKera "Monique", Angela, and Randall (De'Jane); grandkids: Quayvashia, Willie Jr, Jeffrey, Jaylin, Kenija, Ra'shawn, Da'shawn, Micah, Devon, Jasani, Dayshawn, Demarion, Deangelo, Marshawn, Nasir, Ehnias, Asher, Cayden, Anthony, Mars, Ermias and Pierre; great-grandchildren: Ka'Myiah, Zion, Zayden, A'Mill, A'Vayiah, A'Royaltee, and Ny'Omi; special niece Daniela Daniel, special nephew Danyell Wallace, siblings: Lula (Larry), Robert, Janet, Gwendolyn, Tammy, Timothy and Charles (Wonzella); uncles: Albert (Australia )Swift, Ted (Julia) Swift, and Robert L (Marianna) Swift; aunt Mildred Phillips Swift, and spiritual brother Jim Frazier.

He was preceded in death by his father Jack Wallace, mother Estella Doyal, mother-in-law Lillie Mae Hall, three sisters: Lillie, Mary, and Beverly; and three brothers: Curtis, Jeroniver, and Tommie Lee.

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday October 29, 2023 at 2 PM, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1000 Longhorn Ct., in Freeport, IL, 61032, with Brian Speldrich officiating.

Saturday, October 28, 2023 will be a "Reflections of Life" from 3PM - 8PM at the Stephenson County Farm Bureau, 210 W. Spring St., Freeport, IL.
