Thomas E. May "Tom" 74 of Freeport passed away at FHN surrounded by family on November 14, 2024. He was born to Dean and Joyce (Loring) May on February 14, 1950. After graduating from High School, Tom served in the Army. Tom was retired from Star Manufacturing. On March 11, 1972 Tom married Valliana Pehl and raised two children together.

Tom is survived by his children Dan (Jean) Pehl and Janelle Vogt, -10 grandchildren Justin May, Jorgia, Brandon, Bryson, Boden and Braxton Vogt, Seth (Lily) Roberts, Josh Dearth, Cora (Kent) Reuber and Rebecca Pehl, 9 great grandchildren Layla, Jaylen and Journee May, Josiah, Nehemiah, Naomi and Esther Reuber, Ezekial Bachynski and Cecilia Collins and one sister Christy (Daryl) Pehl.

Tom was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers Mike and Mark and the love of his life Valliana.

A joint Celebration of Life for Tom and Mark will be held on Saturday February 22, 2025 at 2 PM, at the Freeport Moose Lodge, 440 Challenge St, Freeport, IL.
