Thomas M. Carey, 61, of West Allis, WI passed away on February 21, 2022 at his home. He was born on June 12, 1960 to Thomas and Patricia Carey in Freeport, IL. He was a 1978 Aquin Catholic High School graduate. Tom was employed at Greenlee Textron for many years in Rockford, IL and recently was working at Herker Industries in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Tom loved all Chicago sports, but was a lifelong fan of The Chicago Bears. Tom enjoyed riding his bike on local trails, exercising, and had the best sense of humor.

Tom is survived by his mother, Patricia Carey of Freeport, IL, his brothers; Scott (Kathy) Carey of Pecatonica, IL, Shawn Carey of Greensboro, NC, his three children; Chris, Emily, and Ryan (Lucinda) Carey of Freeport, IL, his three granddaughters; Tristen, Nimah, and Ariella and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Thomas and his brother Paul.

Memorial services will be held at Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel at 608 South Park Boulevard in Freeport, IL from 1:00 - 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2022.
