Terry Barr, 80, of Freeport, IL, passed away on March 23, 2021. He was born on October 21, 1940 in Oelwein, IA, to John and Marge (Anderson) Barr. He attended Oelwein High School and would later join the Army, where he served during the Vietnam War. He married Nancy Schutt on November 9, 1990.
Survivors include his wife Nancy Barr; children: Rodney (Debbie) Barr, Jody (Chip) Conway, Kim (Greg) Hammond, and Terra (Blake) LaPuma.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Max.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
