Terrance "Terry" B. Ritter, age 75 of Monroe, WI passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023 after his courageous battle with cancer. Terry was born on April 15, 1947 in Rockford, IL. Terry served in the US Navy for a short time. During Terry's first marriage he became a father to his 3 daughters and also became a stepfather. Throughout life Terry enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, being outdoors, dancing, cooking and spending time with family & friends.  Terry was known for throwing a fish fry or two after his many fishing trips. Terry spent many years driving a semi or as an instructor teaching others how to drive them. In 1993 Terry married Barbara J Ritter. Terry and Barbara spent the next 17 years building a unforgettable love for one another until Barbara lost her courageous battle with cancer in 2010.

Terry is survived by his daughters: Colleen (Eric) Polhill of Stockton, and Tracy Ritter of Freeport; Stepchildren: Christina (Kirk) West, and Lenny (Ellen) Palmenderi, all of Freeport; Grandkids: Alyssa Polhill  (Josh Luloff), Jordan Luedeking (Kelli LaShelle), Jerrad Luedeking (Sylvia Trujillo), Michael Erdman, and Toni (Sam) Barghout; Great Grandkids: Keltie Luedeking, Raelynn Luedeking, Jax Luedeking, Ava Luedeking, Gavin Luedeking, Sabastian Barghout, and Talia Barghout.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara J Ritter , and daughter Laura L Ritter.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 11, 2023, at 12 noon, with visitation at 11 AM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport.
