Steven L. Schriner, 62, of Freeport, IL, passed away on February 24, 2020 at UW Madison. He was born on April 11, 1957 in Savanna, IL to Lyle and Juanita (Orth) Schriner, and raised by his stepfather Owen Curboy. Steve grew up and graduated in Stockton, IL. He was a master carpenter who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He was an all around Mr. Fix-it.

Survivors include his companion for life Judy Harnish; children Jerimy (Cara) Schriner and Stephanie (Brian) Ross;

Grandchildren Paige, Mayson, Big Tyler, Little Tyler, Kaylie, Jace, Coltin, Lily, Kirsten, Jackson, and Cierra; 4 great-grandchildren, extended family: Shannon (Nick) Maurer and Emily (Jack) Stroup; his brother David and sister Melinda Allen.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, stepfather, and his sister Teri.

A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday February 29, 2020 from 2-4 PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd. Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd. in Freeport, IL. There will be a Celebration of Life in the "Sunshine" at a later date.
