Steven R. Bottcher, died November 21, 2020. Brother, Uncle, Friend, Musician, and "Now his Guitar Gently Weeps".

He was born on October 9, 1952 in Belvidere, IL, the son of Robert C. and Doris R. (Shawvan) Bottcher. He played in several area bands and was known to enjoy "a cocktail or two". He was an avid golfer who loved the movie "Caddyshack", and was a hard luck fisherman. He is survived by his sister Lana Davis, and seven nieces and nephews.

A spring Celebration of Life will be held by musicians and friends. For now, raise your glass and sing your favorite Beatles song and say goodbye to "Botch".
