Scott Lamping, 59, of Freeport, IL, passed away on January 25, 2026. He was born on February 26, 1966 in Freeport, to Sharon Prinkey-Humphrey and Ed Gregg Lamping. He married Destiny Jade Thilmany on January 15, 2021 in Freeport.

Survivors include his wife Destiny Jade Thilmany, son Kyler, daughter Tiffany Quick, Kayse Sims, Ashia Sims, brother William Higgs, mother Sharon Humphrey, and father Gregg Lamping.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother.

A Celebration of Life will be held in April 2026.
