Sandra G.
Dvorak
Nov 3, 1946 — Jul 3, 2022
Sandra G. Dvorak (Sandee/Cindy Lou) of Stockton, IL began her next adventure on July 3, 2022 after a brief illness at home surrounded by her loving children Joe (Janet) Dvorak, Chris (Jeanette) Dvorak, Allison (David) Bauer and Aleta (Brandon) Elliott.
Sandee was born in Chicago, IL to Ross & Lillian Acton on November 3, 1946. She married her high school sweetheart Joseph Dvorak on August 26, 1967. Together they raised their "brilliant and successful" children and eventually settled in Stockton.
Sandee was a devoted wife, compassionate and loving mother and grandmother. She loved animals, adopted many, and was a friend to anyone she met. She enjoyed reading, fishing, camping and family celebrations. Besides being an amazing mom, she worked as a medical/insurance secretary, Stray and Abandoned volunteer, EMT, 4-H leader and she was a master of any kitchen which helped in owning and operating Porkies Fillin' Station in Monroe, WI.
She will be missed by her children, grandchildren Aaron, Colin, & Jared Dvorak. Karson (Ashley) Smith, Emily (Skyler) Thompson, Connor & Hannah Small, Everett & Lukas Dvorak. Aleah (Gavin) Glasgow, Austin (Lauren) Bauer, Arrison, & Arden Bauer. Ellie Scherer, Max, Auden, & Wren Elliott. Great-grandchildren Holden Smith and Marlee Thompson. Brother Bruce (Diane) Acton and many nieces and nephews. Her loyal best friend and hand-picked sister Debbie Lyons, special friend Laura Noll, son-in-law Andy Scherer, nieces and nephews and most of all her pets, Stormy and Trix. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, aunts and uncles.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Lena Living Center Staff & Therapists, SSM Health Monroe Hospice, and family friend Deb Heidenreich. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SSM Health Monroe Hospice or Safe Haven Humane Society in Sandra's name.
A private celebration of life to be held at a later date.
