Ruby Lowe, 89, of Pearl City, IL, passed away on January 22, 2020 at home. She was born on November 15, 1930 to George and Lillian Katzenberger at R.R. #2, Lanark, IL. She married Robert Lowe on September 13, 1949 in Miles, IA, at the Methodist Church. Ruby was very loving to all of her family and friends. She was a long time member of Berreman Church of God and the W.C.S.C. Ladies Group, having previously served as secretary for the group. She was also owner of Flower Fan-a-see for 7 years.

Survivors include her sons John (Diane) Lowe and Joe Lowe; daughters Jillene (Roy) Robertson and Judy (David) Miner; brother Melvin (Carol) Katzenberger in Lanark, IL; sister Carol (Robert) Buss in Lena, IL; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and family friends Mary Lowe, Ieasha and Danny.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, and brother-in-law.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday January 25, 2020 at 1 PM, with visitation from 10 AM to 12:45 PM, at the Berreman Church of God, 10350 S. Skunk Hollow Rd. in Mt. Carroll, IL, with Pastor Robert Phelps officiating. Interment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery immediately following the service. A luncheon will follow at Ebenezer Hall.
