On July 3, 2024, RoseMarie (Rosie) Crichton passed away at the age of 74. Rosie was born on March 1, 1950 to Charles and Harriet (Williams) Rolando in Nora, Illinois. She graduated from Warren High School in 1968. On October 5, 1969, Rosie married Rick Crichton at The Little Brown Church.  They built a beautiful home outside of Shannon where they raised their two daughters, Jennifer and Melisa, and a son, Michael.

Rosie and Rick operated R-n-R Poultry Processing for eleven years. Afterwards Rosie worked for an assisted living home where she became very good friends with several of the residents. She would keep in touch with them long after retirement. Rosie had many interests throughout her life: gardening and preserving, decorating cakes, sewing, crafting of all sorts including crochet, fishing (especially in Canada), cooking, and traveling with her husband. Rosie very much enjoyed playing Dominoes with the ladies in town.

Rosie was preceded in death by her husband and parents Chuck and Harriet.  She is survived by her children Jennifer (Pat) Kelly, Missy (Jason) Anderson, and Mike (Nikki) Crichton, fourteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sisters-in law Joyce Auer and Linda Schutt, brother-in-law Bill (Dawn) Crichton, niece Tiffani (Chad) Schoonhoven, nephew Tim (Shannon) Crichton, great-nephews, and many other extended family members.

Rosie's children would like to thank everyone who kept Rosie company and helped care for her after her husband's death.
