Ronald Dean Melville, 90, of Pearl City, passed away September 29, 2025 at FHN Hospital in Freeport. He was born on February 16, 1935 to the late George and Magdalene (Nelson) Melville. Ron married Donna Keyes on August 15, 1959. They were married for 42 years before Donna passed away in 2001. He later married Connie Tiffany in October 2004.

He graduated from Oregon High School in Wisconsin. Ron graduated from UW-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree. Throughout his career, he was a livestock buyer for Oscar Mayer, worked at the Pearl City Elevator, school bus driver for Pearl City Schools, door-to-door salesman for Jewel T and direct support provider for Malcolm Eaton Enterprises. Ron was also a proud member of the Pearl City Lions Club, village board and St. John's Lutheran Church. He was also a retired member of the Pearl City Fire Department. Another job Ron took great pride in was putting the letters on the Pearl City community bulletin board. He loved camping, animals, puttering, taking his daily walks around town, tending to his plants and being outdoors. Ron was an avid fan of Wisconsin Badgers sports, as well as the Green Bay Packers.

Most of all, Ron loved his family and friends. He was full of stories and loved visiting with others. He never met a stranger. Ron will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and playful spirit.

Ron is survived by his daughter Kris (Rusty) Liebenstein, daughter-in-law Jamie Melville, both of Pearl City, granddaughters Jessica (Curt) Anderson, Laura (Caleb) Skoog, Kendra (Wyatt) Gipe, grandson Noah Liebenstein, great-grandkids Braylon Liebenstein, Knox and Kollins Skoog and baby girl Gipe. Ron is also survived by his sister Ann Otis and brother-in-law, Dan Keyes, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his wife Connie's children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Donna, son Mark, brother James, father-in-law and mother-in-law Bill and Velma Keyes, brothers-in-law Pat, Steve and Dave Keyes and sister-in-law Doris Keyes.

Ron's family would like to thank St. Joseph Ascension Living in Freeport and the staff at FHN Supportive Care and Hospice for taking such great care of him. A special thank you goes to Kara Hofmaster for holding his hand and praying with Ron during his final moments.

There will be a private family service and burial. Ron will be buried at Highland Cemetery in Pearl City.
