Rodney Lee Block, 76, of Lena, IL, passed away February 11, 2022, at Lena Living Center. He was born June 14, 1945, in Freeport, IL to Myron and Nelda (Brinkmeier) Block. Rodney farmed and was a seed salesman. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pearl City, IL.

Survivors include his sons: Lee (Stacey) Block of Pearl City, IL and Matt (Jodi) Block of Lena, IL; grandsons: Jensen Block, Jared Lauer, Adam (Jodi) Block, and Austin Block; and sister Cherri Block of Tucson, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myron and Nelda (Brinkmeier) Block.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 19, 2022, at 2:30 PM, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pearl City, IL, with Pastor Shellie Knight officiating. Visitation will be from 1 PM until time of service. Inurnment in Highland Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Heartland ProMedica Hospice.
