Robert Lee Beightol, Sr., 75, of Freeport, IL, passed away on February 16, 2021 at home. He was born on April 6, 1945 in Lima Township IL, to Harold and Vera (Fredericks) Beightol. He married Linda Horner on July 2, 1965.

Survivors include his wife Linda Beightol; kids: Robert Beightol, Jr, Jerry Beightol, Keith (Amy Jo) Beightol, Michael Beightol and Susan Beightol; brother John (Marcia) Beightol; sister Shirley Brooks; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Vera Beightol; brother Chuck Beightol; brother-in-law Harry Brooks; father-in-law Sam Horner; and mother-in-law Susan Horner.

A visitation will be held on Saturday February 20, 2021 from 3PM – 6PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded. Facial coverings will be required upon entering chapel.
