Ricky S. Brown, 59, of Freeport, IL, passed away on October 23, 2024 at FHN. He was born on December 12, 1964 in Freeport to Juanita E. Boss (Martin). He worked as a mechanic at  A&B Auto until it's closing. His cars were his way of life.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Pfarr, sisters: Peggy Castle and Nancy Mauer – Harrington; his special niece, Naomi Schaney, nephew Michael Whitney,  nieces: Isis, Aiyana, and Sophia; stepchildren: Tracey Montoya, Brenda Gerber, and Anthony Montoya; grandchildren: Heather, Sarah, Samantha, Chris, Brandon, Jamie, Krissy, Jessi, and Anthony; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his fiancée, Linda (Mina) Montoya, his sisters: Terry, Helene, Virginia, and Kathy; and his brother Jim Walter.

Visitation will be held on Sunday October 27, 2024, from 1 PM - 3 PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport.

A memorial has been established in his name.
