Richard Reynolds was born on May 25, 1939, to Harold F & Dorothy A (Gunning) Reynolds in Freeport, IL. He graduated from Freeport High School in 1957 and enlisted in the Navy. He then married Sybil Dean in Florida. Richard worked a variety of jobs throughout his life, living in Memphis, TN, Dallas, TX, Freeport, IL, Kansas City, MO, and Denver, CO area. He was artistically talented in many areas and "loved" fishing.

He is survived by his children: Patrick (Michele) Reynolds of Florida, Timothy of Colorado, Micheal (Lorraine) of Littleton, Co, and Shanna (Danny) Vigil of Denver, Co.; Grandchildren: Rachel & Trevor Reynolds, Fiona Reynolds, Felix Vigil; Great-grandchildren: Palmer & Millie Reynolds; Sister: Nancy Clementz of Annawan, IL; Special friend Bonnie; his dog, Riley of Davenport, IA, and many cousins.

Richard was preceded in death by parents, grandparents, sister-Mary E. Brauer, Brother-in-Law, Ardie Clementz, Brother-in-Law Paul Brauer, and his beloved dogs-Macintosh & Scamp.

The family would like to thank Walnut Acres for his wonderful care over the last 2 1/2 years.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 18, 2025, from 2 PM - 4 PM. at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL
