Ray Anthony Thompson, 62, of Freeport, IL, passed away on September 28, 2025 at Chicago Univ Medical Center. He was born on June 14, 1963 to Elizabeth (Allen) Thompson-Cooper & Jessie James Thpmson. He married Linda Ann Brown and worked at Sega Mfg. in Freeport.

Survivors include his wife Linda Thompson, and daughters: Tanisha Foreman and Alesha Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, son-in-law, sister, and niece.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday October 11, 2025 at 1 PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL, with Apostle Michael Sowell officiating. Visitation at 11 AM until time of service. Interment at Freeport City Cemetery.
