Ray (Ray Jay) G. Meyer, 66, of Winslow, IL, passed away on March 24, 2026, at Mercyhealth Hospital - Freeport (FHN). He was born on March 19, 1960, in Freeport, IL, to parents Kenneth Meyer and Edna (Stroup) Meyer. He attended Pearl City High School and worked in construction.

Survivors include his daughter Randi (Austin) Webb of Oregon, IL, grandson Bryce Webb of Oregon, IL, siblings: Judy (Dwayne) Hoffmann of Cottage Grove, WI, Vicki (Dave) Olsen of Beloit, WI, Ed (Dee) Meyer of Winslow, IL, and Jill (Dave) Shaulis of Lanark, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth R. Meyer, mother Edna J. Meyer, and several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL. After the visitation, all who wish are welcome to join the family for a time of fellowship and remembrance in the chapel lower-level social hall, from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 11th at 12:00 p.m. at Cory's Pub & Grub, 203 Carver St., Winslow, IL 61089
