Ray Glen Holloway, 83, of Freeport, IL, passed away on February 7, 2025. He was born on March 26, 1941 in Winslow, IL, to Floyd and Georgianna Gladys (Eells) Holloway. He received an associate degree from Highland Community College. He married Shelby J. Stebbins on May 7, 1960. He was an Engineer and a member of Richland 1st Free Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife Shelby Holloway, children: Brad (Amy) Holloway, Les (Tracy) Holloway, Amy (Joe) Johnson, Nicole (Steve) Gerber, and Michael (Cami) Holloway; grandchildren: Andrew Holloway, Derek Holloway, Matthew Holloway, Samantha Glendenning, Johnathon Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Chris Gerber, Misty Gerber, Darin Gerber, Lilliana Gerber, Shelly Holloway, and lots of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd & Gladys, siblings: Theo Holloway, Merrill Holloway, Earl Holloway, Harold Holloway, Roy Holloway, James Holloway, Fern White, and Ilo Thinnis.

A visitation will be held on Thursday February 13, 2025, from 4PM - 6PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport. Funeral service will be Friday February 14, 2025 at 1 PM, also at Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel. Interment at Oakland Cemetery.
