Randy LeRoy Huenefeld, 49, of Freeport, IL, passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2024. He was born on August 13, 1974 in Freeport, to LeRoy Huenefeld and Toni Staas (Frankenfield). He attended Freeport High School. He married Ashley Nicole Stroud in Rockton, IL. He worked as an independent contractor.

Survivors include his mother Toni Staas of Cedarville, IL, wife Ashley Huenefeld, children: Brittany Huenefeld, Ariel Pitchard, Hailey Huenefeld, Gracie Huenefeld, Jessa Huenefeld, and Sean Huenefeld; grandchildren: Legacee Erving and Freyja Erving; siblings: Nick (Lindsey) Huenefeld and Angie (Patrick) Shafer; sisters-in-law: Heather (Greg) Drummer and Amanda Stroud.

He was preceded in death by his son Alexzander Huenefeld, mother-in-law Kathleen Stroud, father LeRoy Huenefeld, sister-in-law Kathy Joe Stroud, grandparents Joseph and Lavina Huenefeld, Miles and Ruth Frankenfield, and Arnold and Shirley Lawson.

A visitation will be held on Saturday July 6, 2024, from 4PM - 6PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport. Funeral service will follow at 6PM with David Ross officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Ashley and the kids.
