Ralph Cleveland
Troglin
Sep 22, 1948 — Apr 4, 2025
Ralph Cleveland Troglin, age 76 of Ridott, Illinois, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025 from an extended illness, with family and his "Hairy Dog" by his side. Born in Pikeville, TN to the late Clyde and Leora Troglin. He was preceded in death by his son Terry Troglin and grandson Kerry Jennings, his brother Tom Turner and his sister Peggy Bennett.
Ralph was a retired Pipefitter . He spent his retired days working on cars or manufacturing as many "one of a kind" projects he could think of all while entertaining his friends and family with hours of laughter. He wanted to teach his children and grandchildren the many trades he knew, and they were asked to accompany him to his beloved garage often. Most importantly, he spent his time helping out countless friends and family.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Diana (Reynolds) Troglin, children Scott (Denise) Kyer, Sherry Hardy (Randy), Tessy Sarver (Bill), Danny Troglin (Tammy), Billy Troglin, and Susan White. Grandchildren Carol (Seth) Bebout, Justin (Rachel) Kyer, Dustin (Sahara) Kyer, Chelsea (Brandon) Craig, Nicole (Nate) Hathaway, Randy Hardy Jr., Chris (Grace) Hardy, Billy (Chelsey) Sarver, Brandon Sarver. Great Grandchildren Emma, Benji Jennings, Frankie Blessing, August Palmquist, Aubrey, Arya Sarver, Avery, Emma, Hunter Bebout, Leia, Luke, Anakin, Obi Kyer, Landon, Grayson, Adalynn Craig, Bryson, Aria Hathaway, and soon to be born Braden Kyer.
A special thank you to Amanda Mecum (mother to great grandchildren Emma, Benji and Frankie) and her mom, Mary Weems, and great granddaughter Emma, for the exceptional care given to Ralph during his illness and fulfilling his final request to come home. We would also like to thank Hospice of Freeport for their kindness and compassion.
