Phyllis Jean Seffrood, 81, of Freeport, IL, passed away on February 3, 2025. She was born on July 30, 1943 in Nora, IL, to Harry and Bessie (Schultz) Doubler. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Seffrood, her parents, 6 siblings, brothers Glenn (Alice), Bob, Harry (Geraldine), sisters Darlene (Grant) Gilbertson, Nelda (Francis) Reed, Betty (Delbert) Roe, grandson Roger Julius, and life long friends Roland and Marybell Hay.

She is survived by her children Anna (Steve) Julius, Darwin Seffrood, and Eric (Lisa) Seffrood; grandchildren Amber Ludwig, Candice Seffrood, Dylan and Skyler Seffrood; brother-in-law Donald Seffrood, sister-in-law Marian Seffrood, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Phyllis enjoyed visiting, square-dancing, church, and just about anything social. She liked collecting Angels and teacups and saucers, and anything Wood Ducks.

A memorial service will be held on Monday February 10, 2025 at 2 PM, with visitation from 1 PM until time of service, at the First Lutheran Church, 303 S. Galena Ave in Freeport, IL.
