Penny Rutter, 57, of Rockford, IL, passed away on December 13, 2023 at home. She was born on August 22, 1966 to Barbara Tilley (R.I.P.) in Dunkilin County, Missouri. She married Jeff Rutter on August 12, 2000 at Oakdale Nature Preserve.

She was a loving wife and mother Shamanic Reverend, amazing artist and singer and loved her camping and photography.

She is survived by 2 beautiful daughters: Dessiree Stalder and Madison Brown, husband Jeff, sisters Jenny Guerrero, Tammy Switzer, and Tammy Swift. Mom and Dad, Dan, and Nancy Rutter. Aunt Jan Rutter, aunt Sandy McFadden and Aunt Sharon. Best friends Jamie Curles and Jayme Wubben. And loving dog Diamond and cat Johnny as well as many many friends and was mom and aunt to many more and was greatly loved by all.

She was preceded in death by Mother Barbara Roberts, Grandma and Grandpa Gerry and Royce Rutter, and cats Floyd and Tweek.

Visitation will be held on Monday December 18, 2023, from 4PM - 6PM, followed by a funeral service at 6PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL.
