Pamela Sue Wenger, 71, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on July 11, 2022 at Tidewell Hospice. She was the beloved mother of five children and a devoted wife. Pam was born on August 10, 1950 in Rockford, IL. She lived in northwest Illinois until settling with her husband and children in Cedarville, IL. In retirement, Pam and Garry moved to Port Charlotte, FL. Pam graduated from cosmetology school in her early life. Later she was self-employed as an insurance agent then became active in the country music industry as a promoter at the Masonic Temple in Freeport and Stephenson County Fair. Pam was known and will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, outgoing personality, her feistiness, and her ability to make friends anywhere she went; she was the illuminating bright light in any room. Pam was proceeded in death by her parents, Robert D. Busekros I and Joyce E. Martin, both of Pearl City, IL; two sons, Anthony (Tony) Wenger of Bensenville, IL and Raymond Dominguez of Sterling, IL; three sisters, Sherry Martinez and Bobbi Quintero, both of Mesa, AZ, and Peggy Holmes of Freeport, IL; one grandson, Jay Tolley of Appleton, WI; and one great granddaughter, Ja'Leigha Wenger. Pam is survived by her husband, Garry Wenger of Port Charlotte, FL; two sons, Gary and Danny Wenger, both of Freeport, IL; one daughter, Tammy McIlvanie, and one special son-in-law, David McIlvanie, both of Port Charlotte, FL; four grandchildren, Dan (Ashley) Wenger and Amanda Wenger, both of Freeport, IL, Skylar McIlvanie of Gainesville, FL, and Brody Barton of Bensenville, IL; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Connie Stingley of Freeport, IL and Kay Luna of Orangeville, IL; one brother, Robert Busekros II of AZ; several special nieces and nephews who loved their "Aunt Pam"; and many dear friends far and wide. A celebration of life will be held at Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL on Sunday, July 17th, 2022 at 1:00 pm with a luncheon to follow at Grand River Hall located at
101 S. Liberty Ave, Freeport, IL
