Obituary

Pamela Elaine Waller, 71, of Freeport, passed away at FHN on March 24, 2021 due to complications from diabetes. She was born July 13, 1949 in San Francisco, Ca. to Emerson Stanley Waller Sr. and Beulah Marie Jones. At just 2lbs, medical professionals told her parents not to name her as she would not make it through the night. She was a loving part of her family for more than 70 years to spite them all.
She graduated Freeport High School in 1968. For more than 30 years, she owned and operated a commercial and residential cleaning business. There was nothing she loved more than being around children. Although having none of her own, she was a precious aunt and "adopted" aunt to many, including: Michael Funk; Faithe Reed and her daughter Zoie. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Freeport.
Pamela is survived by her two sisters: Marlene Edmund of Stockton, and Carol (Duane) Price of Freeport; one brother: Donald Bryan of Freeport; sister-in-law, Judith Bryan of Freeport; uncle, Kenneth (Cindy) Waller of Freeport; aunt, Barb Ackerman of Freeport; nieces: Heather (Dave) Redmore, Amanda (Matt Driess) Mitchell, Jacquelyn (Jeremy) Sigafus, Danielle (Jessie Jacobs) Rogers, Kari Olson, Michelle Siller, Geanine (Karl) Minton, Debbie (Paul) Earls, Tammy Sanfilippo, Kim (Robert) Mihalyi, Eileen (Marcella) Waller, Melissa (Tim) Barber, and Elizabeth Bryan; nephews: Kenneth Bryan, David Bryan, Vernon Bryan, Charles Bryan, Scott (Tracy) Bryan, Steven Lewis, Daniel Lewis, Jon (Terri) Olson, Troy Olson, Brad (Jennifer) Burton, and William Bryan Jr.; and two lifelong friends, Judith Diestelmeier and Kay Woods.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and step-father, William "Bill" Anderson; brothers: Vernon, William, Charles, and Emerson; sister: Marian; a niece in infancy, Melinda Waller; aunt and uncle, Bob and Erma Waller; grandparents: Herman and Mabel Waller and William and Dora Jones.
