Nancy L. Thompson, 79 years young, passed away October 14th, 2025 peacefully at home surrounded by loving family and afar in spirit. She was born May 14,1946 in Freeport IL, to parents Dado Cramer Sr and Katherine Cramer (Hersbrunner) of Freeport, IL. She graduated from Aquin High School in Freeport, IL. She married Preston B. Thompson on June 11, 1966. Nancy took pride her main job and that was her family. Nancy was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Freeport, IL.

Surviving is her husband Preston Thompson, son Preston Thompson Jr. (Cheryl Thomspon) of Gilbert, AZ, daughter Selena Beverley of Augusta, GA, daughter Veronica Truckenmiller (Steve Pro) of Freeport, IL. Grandchildren; Preston, Trevin (Devonie) and Sloane Thompson of AZ, Sara and Seth Beverley of Gilbert, AZ, Vaun Truckenmiller of Ladsen, SC and Broc Truckenmiller of Gilbert, AZ. Great grandchildren Ashlinn, Holden, Hunter and Dahlia of Gilbert, Az. Sister Judy Lasco of Freeport, IL.

Nancy was recently preceded in death by her sister Carolee Vandemark of Freeport, IL and has reunited with all her other family members that have passed as well over the years along with her beloved furry friends.

A Celebration of life will be determined in the near future at Oakland Cemetery Mausoleum.
