Michael A. Sloan, 58, of Freeport, IL, passed away at home on May 19, 2026. He was born on February 21, 1968, in Freeport, to Thomas Sloan and Kay Kunkle.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and Cubs fan. He enjoyed watching the game and cheering on his teams.

Survivors include his mother Kay Kunkle, brothers: Bradley Sloan and Jeffrey Sloan (Karen); many nieces and nephews, and multiple great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Sloan, and grandmother Ruth Neberman.
