Michael Lee Saxer, 62, of Rockford, IL, passed away on October 21, 2026 at UW Health in Rockford. He was born on November 22, 1963 in Monroe, WI, to Harry Saxer and Norma Ingwell Conner. He was a graduate of Freeport High School. He would later marry his wife Tammy in Brownsville, TX.

Survivors include his wife Tammy Saxer, father Harry Saxer, siblings: Scott (Cindy) Saxer, Belinda Paxton, Sherry (Richard) Gordon, Terri Trampel, and Henry (Nicole) Trampel; sons: Joshua (Nikki) Saxer, Jason Saxer (Brian Temperly); and 4 four-legged kids: Amber Lee, Lucky Lee, Ace Man, and Bessy Sue.

He was preceded in death by Norma Connor.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
