Michael Joseph Mayerhofer, 60, of Rockford, IL, passed away on July 10, 2024 in Freeport, IL. He was born on February 20, 1964 in Chicago, IL, to Charles Ignatious and Dolores J. (Kozak) Mayerhofer. He was a graduate of Morton West High School and worked most of his life as a printing press operator.

Survivors include his brothers, sisters, and family: Mary (Bruce) Krahn, Tom, Paul (Sue), John, Carolyn Switzer, Christine (Greg) Wernick, Joe (Sue), Steve (Lisa) Mayerhofer, and Richard (Rowena) Corcoran, Uncle of Mike, Cassie, Brian, Melissa, Jeremy, Gus, Josie, and Hannah.

A Celebration of Life will be held with family and close childhood friends.
