Michael Robert Green was born on September 4, 1962, in Freeport, IL, to his parents, Robert & Shirley Green. Mike was the youngest of five children: brothers, LaMorris McGee and Carl Green, and sisters, Rozalyn Green and Donna Green, all of Freeport, IL.

Michael was a product of the Freeport School District, where he received his formal education and graduated from the class of 1980. Michael was employed at ADT Home  Security Services. Michael was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories daughter, Mykia Green, of Chattanooga, TN; siblings, LaMorris (Irene) McGee, Rosalyn (AKA Roz), Donna Green, and Carl (Carla) Green, all of Freeport, IL

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Robert Green; mother, Shirley and stepfather, Herman Farrar.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday June 13, 2026, at 11 AM, with a visitation at 10 AM, at First Church of God, 484 S. Ottawa Ave, in Freeport, IL.
