Mike DiModica passed away peacefully at his home on December 25, 2021, from a short battle with cancer, surrounded by family. Born 1943 to Frances DiModica; he was later adopted by his grandparents Angelo and Virginia DiModica. He is survived by his companion, Ellen Tell of Freeport, his siblings, Sandy Lieske of South Carolina, Sylvia Craig of Janesville and his sons: Anthony DiModica of New York, Joseph DiModica and Paul DiModica of Freeport. He is beloved by Ellen's son, Joey Arola and his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, parents and brother Robert Delzell.

An avid Cubs and Bears fan, Micheal retired from a management position at the Freeport Eagles club and later served as a trustee for the club.

There will be a celebration of life at the Eagles Club on January 16, 2022 at 12:00 noon.
