Meredith (Tina Mayer) McClure , 73, passed away at home in Pecatonica, Illinois on Thursday, October 19, 2023.She was born August 22, 1950 in Rockford, Illinois, to Everett and Patricia (Reilly) Hammond.

Tina, worked at Pecatonica's taverns through the 1980's to the early 2000's and was known by many as one of the best bartenders. She also worked at Auburn Street Maid Rite in Rockford and JC Penney in Freeport.

She loved Wheel of Fortune, crossword puzzles, playing the lottery and was an avid Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs fan.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Chris) Johnson, Jason (Carrie) Mayer, Joshua (Melenie) Mayer and Jamerson (Tedra Goff) Mayer; six grandchildren, Cody Johnson, Ciera Johnson, Celsey (Jeremy) Swanson, Abigail Mayer, Makenna Mayer and Maxson Mayer; six step-grandchildren; sister Barbara Story; and several nieces and nephews.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents, sister Victoria, daughter Janice Mayer and grand-daughter Tina Mayer.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday November 3, 2023 from 3-5pm at the American Legion in Pecatonica.
