Marsha K. Griffin, 72, of Freeport, IL, passed away on August 21, 2022 at home. She was born on March 18, 1950 in Freeport, to Anna Mae Harbach. She was a graduate of Freeport High School and would later marry Ronald R. Griffin in Freeport. She was a Lineperson for Northwestern Telephone and would retire from FHN as a Medical Transcriptionist.

Survivors include her son Tracey J. Griffin from Fort Myers, FL, 4 grandchildren: Dannie R. McShane, Jr. of Freeport, IL, Alexis K. McShane of Freeport, IL, Tiffany Ann Griffin of Beloit, WI, and Taylor Marie Griffin of Fulton, WI; 2 great-grandchildren: Addison Marie Carlson and Lincoln Joseph Carlson; and 2 sisters: Pamela Love of Freeport, IL, and JoAnne (Joe) Hoerr of Peoria, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald R. Griffin, daughter Andrea Renee Griffin, Mother Anna Mae (Harbach) Likens, and grandparents Joseph Harbach and Lorena (Nanny) Harbach.

Marsha loved spending time with her family. She always enjoyed a good laugh and a couple of beers with her friends. She was an avid sports fan of the Cubs and Packers. She liked to bowl and belonged to the Monday Night League for years. Her last few years were filled with the joy of her special needs granddaughter Lexi. Marsha will be terribly missed by all her family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
