Marlene E. Winfrey, 57, of Freeport, IL, passed away on July 9, 2025 at FHN. She was born on June 19, 1968 in Chicago, IL, to Joseph Winfrey Sr and Marlene (Wright) Winfrey.

Survivors include Chamika Winfrey, Jasmine Winfrey, Dominique Furcron, Larhonda Jones, Roy Jones, Alexis Winfrey, Darion Winfrey, and Joseph Winfrey, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Marlene Winfrey Sr and Joseph Winfrey Sr, sister Nechelle Winfrey, brother DeWayne Winfrey, and son Derrick Winfrey.

A visitation will be held on Thursday July 17, 2025 at 12 noon, followed by a funeral service at 1 PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL. Interment at Freeport City Cemetery.

A memorial has been established, in loving memory of Marlene Winfrey.
