Mark Douglas Maurer, 74, of Freeport, IL, passed away on September 28, 2026. He was born on May 19, 1952 to Leroy and Harriet Maurer.

Survivors include his son Blake Lee Maurer, daughter-in-law Olivia Maurer, grandson Bentley Stone Maurer, grandson Beau Stone Maurer, and granddaughter Sadie Marlene Maurer,

He was preceded in death by his brother John Maurer, nephew Chad Maurer, father Leroy Maurer, and mother Harriet Maurer.
