Marilee (Glenn) Staas, 75, of Freeport, IL, passed away on August 4, 2022. She was born on August 21, 1946 in Peoria, IL, to JD Glenn, Sr. and Norma (Sheppard) Durr. She was a 1965 graduate of Peoria Heights High School, and on May 25, 1974, married Richard T. Staas, Sr. in Orangeville, IL.

Survivors include her husband Richard T. Staas, Sr, 2 sons: Richard T. Staas, Jr. and Mitchell (Kelly) Staas; 4 grandchildren: Max and Raegan Staas, and Piper and Lucy Staas; 1 sister Norma (Rocky) Munson, 1 brother JD Glenn, Jr., and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father JD Glenn, Sr., mother Norma (Sheppard) Durr, stepfather Adolph "Bud" Durr, sister Nora (Donald) Johnson, and stepdaughters: LeAnne Leffler and Laura Hammond.

A memorial service will be held on Friday August 12, 2022 at 11 AM, with a visitation from 10 AM until the time of service, at Oakland Cemetery & Mausoleum (Chapel of Peace) in Freeport, with Pastor Fred Woodruff officiating.
