Marie Kathleen McConnell, 72, of Freeport, IL, passed away at home January 16, 2022. She was born May 14, 1949 in Chicago, IL. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Survivors include Amanda Krauser, Susan Krauser, Jennifer Deacon, and Dan Krauser; grandchildren: Jonathan Krauser, Jessica Deacon, Rory Hammitt, Adam Krauser, Ashley Krauser, Luke Krauser, and Lauren Krauser; stepchildren: Kelly Malouf, Lane McConnell, Colleen Klich, and Patrick McConnell; step-grandchildren: Kaeli Mundell, Morgan Malouf, Erin Malouf, Emily McConnell, Harrison McConnell, Katelyn Klich, and Paige Klich; and step-great-grandsons: Zachary Mundell and Kyler Mundell.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 29, 2022, at 11 AM, at Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport.
