Margaret A. Glenn, 96, of Lanark, IL, passed away on August 15, 2020 at Pinecrest Manor in Mt. Morris, IL. She was born on April 15, 1924 at home in rural Lanark, to Clyde S. and E. Mae (Lester) Newcomer. She graduated from Lanark High School. She married Ralph Glenn in 1942 in Lanark, and Wilson Fisher in Shannon, IL in 1997. Both would precede her in death. She was a homemaker and would later be employed at GE in Morrison, IL. She was a member of the Lanark Church of the Brethren, a 4-H leader, a Sunday School Teacher, and a talented seamstress & quilter.

Survivors include her son: Royal "Del" (Debbie) Glenn; daughters: Rita (Dale) Port and Ronda Glenn; brother: Max (Sylvia) Newcomer; grandchildren: Tamara (Brent) Fitzgerald, Darrick (Christie) Port, Kaia Glenn, Kirstin (Matt) Kruegel, and Carrie Preisler; great-grandchildren: Megan, Emma, Averie, Harrison, and Royal; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Ralph Glenn and Wilson Fisher, and brothers and sisters-in-law.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday August 20, 2020 at 11 AM, at Lanark City Cemetery in Lanark, IL, with Pastor Rodney Caldwell officiating. A memorial has been established.
