Madonna J.
Bloyer
May 8, 1950 — Dec 15, 2021
On December 15th, 2021, Madonna J. Bloyer, a beloved mother and grandmother to five children, nine grandchildren, and one little dog (whom she adored), passed away at the age of 71. Madonna was born May 8th, 1950 in Hazel Green, Wisconsin. Donna spent her time in this life serving as a caregiver for all around her, from her job as a CNA to making sure her family and friends were cared for. She was kind to all who met her and would often bring her patients who had no family from Stephenson Nursing Home into her own home to spend the holidays with her and her children. Anyone who knew Madonna also knew that her middle name of Joy was fitting as she could light up any room she walked into with a simple smile. Not only was she an adored Grandmother but a fantastic mother. Her favorite pastime was spending her days with her little dog Misty and her daughters.
Madonna is survived by four children: Angela Garcia of Freeport, John Meyers of Milwaukee, Cynthia Fluegel of Orangeville, & Christina Myers of Woodbine. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Melesio Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Ana Laura Meyers, Sage Cowan, Farrah Pulley, Breezy Pulley, Lyric Fluegel, Tripp Fluegel, Abraham Shultis, & Carson Shultis. She is also survived by five siblings: Stephen Schultz, Miriam Schultz, Kathy Schultz, Lizzy Schultz & Charlene Schultz. Also remaining is her mother; Rosemary Schultz (Adams).
She is preceded in death by her son Daniel Meyers, father Morris Schultz, brothers Morris Jr. & Martin Schultz, granddaughter Claire Pulley, and nephew Joseph Schultz.
The family has made arrangements for a funeral service set for this Thursday, December 23rd. Services will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Freeport, Il with visitation beginning at 9:30 with funeral service at 10:30 and luncheon directly following.
