Lynn G. Petit, 66, of Freeport, IL, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021.  He was born March 20, 1955 in Freeport to Amos and Amy Petit.  Lynn was a very kind soul and tried to make everyone his friend.

Lynn is survived by his special friend and care-giver Renee Sacco, sisters Barb (Mike) Moran of Dubuque, Debbie (Steve) Monigold of Freeport, brothers Mark Petit of Freeport and Tim Petit of Monroe, nephews Jeremy (Debi) Monigold of Cedarville, Joel (Kate) Moran of Dubuque and Jason (Alyssa) Moran of Dubuque, nieces Jill (Matt) Lei of Freeport, Jessica (Luke) Adkins of Rockford and April (Christopher) Caldwell of Monroe.

Preceding Lynn in death were his paternal grandparents George and Virginia Petit and maternal grandparents Lynn and Ione Barker. Parents Amos and Amy Petit and nephew Joey Petit.
