Lyle Robert Keckler, 76, of Morrison, IL, passed away on January 28, 2020 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. He was born on April 18, 1943 in Savanna, IL to James and Emma (Curley) Keckler. On November 24, 1963 he married Bonnie Hartman.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie; children Mitzi Hook of Morrison, IL and Monte Keckler of Mt. Carroll, IL; grandchildren Jedediah Hook of Morrison, IL, Andrew Keckler of Savanna, IL, and Sean Keckler of Argo Fay, IL; great-grandchildren Scarlett Hook and Wyatt Keckler; sister Carol (Melvin) Katzenberger of Lanark, IL; and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, brother Donald, niece Laura Curl, and nephew David Keckler. He was retired from ADM in Clinton, IA.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 15, 2020 from 2-5 PM, at Henry's Double K, 834 S. Jackson Street in Mt. Carroll, IL. Memorials can be made to the University of Iowa Heart & Vascular Center or Medical I.C.U.
