Loralee Kanzigg, 85, of Freeport, IL, passed away May 4, 2022, at Walnut Acres in Freeport. She was born September 8, 1936, in Devils Lake, ND, to Louis Thomas and Hazel Carpenter. She married Kenneth Kanzigg on October 11, 1991. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2014.

Survivors include her sons: Arlen (Kathy) Busser of Lena, IL, and Darryl (Jaime) Busser of Pearl City, IL; daughter Linda (Mike) King of Freeport, IL, 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, brother Gary (Carol Borchardt) Hawkinson, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son Eugene Busser, Parents Louis and Hazel (Carpenter) Thomas, granddaughter Stacy King, husband Kenneth Kanzigg, sister Donna, as well as the children's father, William "Bill" Busser.

A visitation will be held on Thursday May 12, 2022, from 5PM – 7PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded.
