Linda Lou (Smith) Stichter, 72, of Pearl City, IL, passed away January 3, 2022 at FHN. She was born October 15, 1949 in Freeport to Forrest and Lala (Serrano) Smith. She married Daniel Stichter on November 5, 1966 in Freeport. She retired from Newell Brands.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel Stichter, children: David (Angie) Stichter, Scott (Dana) Stichter, Danny "Pid" (Anne) Stichter, and Donovan Stichter; brothers: Tom (Anne Marie) Smith and Randy (Teresa) Smith; 11 loving grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law (Warren Stichter) and mother-in-law (Rosabelle Stichter).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 8, 2022 at 12 noon, with visitation from 10 AM until time of service, at First Church of the Nazarene in Freeport, IL, with Rev. Scott Castro officiating. Inurnment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at a later date. A memorial has been established.
