Linda A. Boatright, 75, of Cedarville, IL, passed away on September 27, 2023 at home. She was born on April 9, 1948 in Cherry Grove, IL to William Tyrrell and Dorothea A. Luy (Blair). She married Leroy Boatright on May 30, 1980 in Oregon, IL. She was a CNA at Provena Nursing Home where she would later retire.

Survivors include her husband Leroy, son Randy (Brenda) Tyrrell, son Scott (Karen) Tyrrell, daughter Debra Boatright, daughter Cindy (Tom) Guthrie, daughter Connie Boatright, sister Wanda (Mike) Hill, brother Danny (Sandy) Tyrrell, brother Edward Luy, brother Joseph K. (Sandra) Luy, brother Jay (Katy) Luy, grandchildren: Ty, Andrew, Heaven, Cory, Kayley, Harmony, and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father William, mother Dorothea, step father Clarence Luy, brother Larry Tyrrell, and grandchild Tad Tyrrell.

Service will be conducted by family member Joseph D. Luy on Tuesday October 3, 2023 at 5:15 PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL. Visitation scheduled from 4PM - 6PM.
