Leonard W. Moran, Jr, 55, of Freeport, IL, passed away on June 26, 2022, in Freeport. He was born on October 26, 1966, in Chicago, IL to Leonard W. Moran, Sr and Edna (Green) Moran. He attended River Forest High School and worked as a carpenter.

Survivors include his fiancée, Debra J. Viel, stepdaughter Allyssa K. Bruce and adopted stepdaughter Aireona Fleming, both of Freeport, IL, son Troy Carter of Sycamore, IL, sisters: JoAnn Camp (Jay) and Barbara Bateman, both of Chicago, IL; brother Michael Moran of Chicago, IL, and brothers-in-law: Michael Marcum and Kelvin Martin, both of Freeport, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Richard Moran of Chicago, IL.

A visitation will be held on Saturday July 23, 2022, from 1PM – 3PM, at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd in Freeport, IL.
