Leonard Earl Gray, 74, of Freeport, IL, passed away on November 20, 2021, in Monroe, WI. He was born on February 21, 1947, to Earl Elvin and Ethel (Whitmore) Gray. He served in the Army from 1965-1968. He received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He was married on August 30, 1970, at the Freeport First Free Methodist Church. He was a member of Freeport First Church of the Nazarene. Organizations included the NRA and the Lena Depot Stove Gang in his younger years.

Survivors include his wife Nancy Gray, daughter Tamilyn Gray, son E. Lennie Gray, grandchildren: Careena Barker Shippert (Mike), Callie Barker, Zarianna, Zytrel, Zaysia, Zyah, and Charlie.

He was preceded in death by his son Jonathan Gray, and his parents.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 27, 2021 at 2 PM, with visitation from 1 PM until time of service, at the First Free Methodist Church in Freeport, IL. Interment at Dakota Cemetery.

Leonard's brother, David Gray, would follow him in passing on November 21, 2021. Services will be shared on Saturday.
